Opinion Polls and Perception Survey

Opinion polls and perception surveys are designed and conducted to understand opinions and perceptions of a population about a phenomenon, situation, policy or program.

Such polls and surveys can be conducted within public or private sectors. In public sector, they can help measure the impact of development or humanitarian policies, or programs by governments or donor agencies. Such research is also used to evaluate and communicate the results of reform processes by governments. In private sector, opinion polls and perception surveys are conducted to help understand customer perceptions about a particular product, i.e., their satisfaction level.

Face to face and Doorstep Survey

During Face-to-face interviews, an individual calls on, or meets with, the respondent and conducts the interview. The interviewer reads out the questions and records the respondent’s answers. It is done either in the form of a paper-and-pencil interview (PAPI) or a computer-assisted personal interview (CAPI) While a face-to-face meeting allows a survey of comparatively complex issues, it also achieves the highest response rates.

Rasa Consulting has a robust logistics system for performing and conducting face-to-face surveys throughout Afghanistan, of all populations, in all sectors, and in a variety of languages. We have extensive networks of surveyors, spread across all provinces and cities of the aforementioned countries, which includes hundreds of experienced interviewers, through which the fieldwork is carried out.

Online and Mobile Call Survey

An online survey is a self-administered questionnaire distributed through a digital platform. In recent years, there has been a shift from telephone surveys to online surveys. The main advantage of online surveys is the ability to display images, video clips, and audio, and in this way, to examine visual elements, including concepts and advertising content, packaging, and logo identification of brands.

Access to the internet has increased even in fragile and post-conflict countries, which provides a good chance for companies to seek insights through online sources. Based on our client’s specific objectives and requirements, Rasa Consulting conducts online surveys to provide valuable data from their target groups in all sectors. We also offer a variety of analysis packages as required by our clients.

Research Communities and Computer Assisted Survey

ORC typically consist of a closed network of respondents taking part in a series of conversations and structured exercises around a given topic on an online community platform that has been custom designed for research purposes. The community is centered on a series of discussion topics that follow much the same format as any other online discussion thread. Participants are allowed to contribute their content on a relevant topic in the form of discussion threads, blog entries, video journals, or other multimedia content. Members are encouraged to interact with other participants as much as possible through sharing custom profiles, status updates, and commenting on the submissions of others. More in-depth and reflective insight can be gathered using this approach.
